Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you provide medical diagnosis?
No. JCHI‑MediLink provides patient‑coordination service only. We cannot give medical diagnosis, second‑opinion medical conclusions or clinical treatment advice. All medical assessments must be completed by AHPRA‑registered doctors in Australia.
2. Can you guarantee that I will be accepted by a hospital or specialist?
We will carry out document review and match suitable medical resources according to your condition. However, admission is at the sole discretion of Australian hospitals and specialists. We cannot guarantee acceptance for treatment.
3. Which visa should I apply for medical treatment in Australia?
For planned medical treatment, the 602 Medical Treatment Visa is the appropriate visa. A tourist visa is generally not suitable for receiving major medical procedures in Australia. Visa processing time varies case‑by‑case. We can provide supporting documentation guidance, but we are not a migration agent and cannot lodge visa applications. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au
4. How long does the 602 medical visa take to process?
Processing times vary depending on individual case. There is no fixed guaranteed timeframe. We recommend applying well in advance of your planned travel date.
5. Are organ‑transplant surgeries available for international visitors?
Generally no. Under Australian medical ethics rules, organ transplant surgery is not offered to non‑resident international patients. We can only assist with pre‑treatment assessment consultations.
6. How are your service fees charged?
Our service fees are for patient coordination work only. Medical bills, hospital charges, doctor fees, accommodation, flights and travel expenses are paid directly by the client to respective third‑party providers. Detailed fee rules will be provided in our formal service agreement.
7. Do you receive commission or rebates from Australian hospitals or doctors?
No. We do not accept any rebates, kick‑backs or commissions from hospitals, clinics or specialists in Australia. This practice is illegal in Australia.
8. Can I bring my own medical reports from my home country?
Yes. Please provide complete and translated medical records, imaging reports and test results. Doctors in Australia will rely on these documents for reference and may arrange further examinations locally.
9. Can you arrange interpreter and local accompanying support?
Yes, we can arrange local bilingual co‑ordination support for your appointments. Related costs will be clearly stated to you in advance.
10. Which countries do you support for healthcare coordination?
We primarily facilitate medical coordination between Australia, Saudi Arabia and China, connecting patients with globally recognised specialist clinicians and healthcare resources.
11: How long will it take to receive a reply after I submit an enquiry?
We aim to respond to all valid enquiries within 2–3 business days.
